What do you guys think the new spirit weapons and spirit rites will be like?

Speculate about this stuff:

I’ll start: I think the ember staff was blessed by Hestia or Prometheus rather than Hephaestus.

Tidestone band is obv poseidon, but it could be someone else if theres another water entity

I wouldn’t say Prometheus because he shares a role with Hecate more than Hephaestus in AU lore

So we’re getting a weapon from Nyx, Poseidon, and Hestia?
Nice.

Spirit Flight is obvious, Spirit Shockwave i have no idea, and i think Spirit Drain will be a grab that potentially has life-steal.

AoE attack, vitality explosion

duh i just don’t know if its going to work like either of the following

  • Shockwave Magic Explosion
  • Shockwave Smash
  • Regular Magic Explosion

So do you think that Spirit flight will be more similar to magic hover or magic flight from World of Magic, or something else entirely?

sighs in “post cant be empty”

What does that mean?

brother its literally in the name.
Flight.
if it were a hover type mobility spell, dont you think it would be called spirit hover?

bruh

my best guess is that nichtaplia is gonna be a large dome barrier considering it’s confirmed in the trello that it has some sort of durability and according to the wiki the name roughly translates into “night expanse” or “a space of night”

nightskin

Spirit explosion, but it spreads.

I personally don’t think it’d be a Flight-type Rite, unless it’s exactly like the Magic Flight spell that’s planned to be a Rare Spell in Full Release. The main reason I think this is because of the limited number of Spirit Weapons; would you really want seven-ish of them available, and one of the rites is solely for out-of-combat utility?

That being said, it could hypothetically be a Leap spell too, but Spirit Walk is effectively that, but better.

Spirit Rise exists as well, which is outright a Leap spell.
No differences.
Same startup, same distance gained.
I genuinely do not care if we have multiple spirit moves that are pure mobility, as long as Oracle has enough offensive options, and it will.
