Is it just galleons and some rep, the WoM idea of a complete rep reset, same as a normal death, etc.
I have been searching, but I can’t find an exact confirmation of it

It just is a glorified arrest, it has more practicality for NPCs, which can permanently die than players who will lose some galleons and bounty.
So do you get arrested (losing galleons and rep in the process) and then if you get executed you lose more galleons and rep? Essentially doubling it?

no it doesn’t, that was only planned for wom, and isn’t in AO
so basically, you get arrested (same consequence as usual), wait 10 min in jail and, if no one frees you, you get executed (same consequence as dying)
cant give executions harsher consequences since they are so common, and he doesnt want to make them a rare thing

pretty sure in AO you loose your bounty if you get arrested/executed/hunted and your fame if you get assinated
You lose a portion of it, you don’t lose everything, that would just make it impossible to maintain a renown title
