Fun but draining and repetitive at times
The price is fair but it needs work.
The concept of the game (pvp permadeath) primarily draws in equally obnoxiously toxic and obnoxiously competitive players who really shouldn’t be on roblox to begin with.
The story ingame is practically non-existent and its mostly told through developers in the discord.
(from what little I’ve heard it literally just sounds like verdant moon’s lore but with extra Cthulhu)
The music is good, the exploration is bad, and the ocean doesn’t feel like it has any reason to be there.
I enjoyed it for the first couple weeks after launch, got my money’s worth, and I never plan on playing it again since I don’t really like that style of game.
The question to ask if you want to buy it is “Can you throw away 4 dollars on something you hate and not give a fuck because its only 4 dollars?”, if the answer is no, you shouldn’t buy deepwoken.
