NPCs had them if you wanna count that. Ramses had Sand (in curse form), Verdies had Plasma, Trigno had Magma (in curse form also), Theos had Phoenix and Sun, Arsen had Ash (in curse form yet again). Thinking about it now, the only mutations used by NPCs were heat magics lol.
Technically we got to use mutations ourselves, but only in the form of legendary weapons. Frostwater Bow had a single Ice Magic move plus the M1s, and the Aethereal Ornament had 2 Aether Magic attacks.
Someone else made a compelling theory that lunar could be slowness so I decided not to choose that.
I do guess it would be pulling enemies with a range into your attacks because gravity is always an attractive force toward the centre of a mass. Or it could be that it pulls opponents into the centre of the attack on hit.
However, I could see it changing the gravity on the enemy as well. E.g. reducing jump height by increasing it.
Now that I think about it, a drastic change in gravity like fling a person sideways could also work.
Like, in spell creation you can set it to either repel or attract. In repel, if you shoot a blast, for example, near enough to where the target takes damage, it’d knockback them. In attract, same thing but when the spell ends (like blast on hit, or explosion after it ends) it will pull targets towards the center in a similar manner to the tornados we find around the dark seas (but weaker of course)
i have a feeling that, if you cant have unique editing option
Explosion spell Pillar would pull you down, Sphere would pull you into its centre and Shockwave would send you flying
That and leap spell would make rear admiral whatishernameagain? fly up so high she glitch and dies
From its name alone, I’m thinking that it would be about gravity (Thank you Sherlock for clarifying this!), but considering how unbalanced that would be, I’m leaning torwards an Agility-reducing debuff (we already have knockback magic, namely, wind).
gravity could maybe reverse the speed of verticle movement when you are hit (if you get hit then leap you get sent down)
reverses your gravity. or removes your gravity shortly. i guess sure it could increase your gravity making it harder to walk but like iron leg users just don’t care.
