Yes—that is to say, all of them. Because all of these fall under the PVP label.

The first one I have other names for, along with phrases to refer to which would get me in trouble with the forum’s moderators, though usually I just call them Gankers. The second one I’d call a Competitive PVPer, and I have no real problem with them, besides their effects on the game’s balancing. The third is just a sizable chunk of the playerbase. Including myself, to some extent.

The “toxic asshole that will gank me” falls under it’s own category, and I wouldn’t really consider gankers as pvpers since they will a lotta times target people with no player kills intentionally due to not actually looking for a fight but for the infamy/renown, more commonly just to be an asshole though

casual pvp doesnt really exist in this game, youre either really in it or youre not, i think its one of the game’s big flaws when it comes to pvp

I have encountered both the casual blud and the ganking aholes (me accepting an invitation to Munera garden while they are chill & getting stuck in a 2v1 by toxic gankers)

To actually answer the question: I think the term “PvPer” is stupid. There are gankers and people who spam EZ and people who spend a hundred dollars on Elysium servers, and then there are normal players who happen to PvP sometimes. I think PvPer and PvEer as terms should not exist—both terms are so broad that it doesn’t do any good. PvPer can refer to a rude ganker asshole or just someone who likes to fight their friends sometimes, and PvEer can refer to a runner, or someone who sits there and says “rude” when they get ganked, or even someone who fights their friends sometimes but doesn’t gank or care about renown. Both sides have become so generalized that this debate is going nowhere.

I use PvPer as a term for the casuals who enjoy fighting but never take it very seriously.
Gankers are gankers, Elysium Dwellers are elysium dwellers.
