omen is overrated and kinda ass (always was)
just use sophragos and amelia cloak with a power amulet for defense+power

arcanium with modifiers are pretty cracked esp if you got the right magic
like fire, for example
i think oracle amulets are a must have if you want any tank build whatsoever (more EP than sunkens, it’s actually crazy)
Oracle Amulet only works at its full capacity on spirit classes, not a conjurer. Also it uses regen which not everyone wants (although I guess if you’re a spirit class its pretty solid I think, I’m not sure).
tank builds are practically always spirit so it goes without saying (mage too but i’m never playing it again after WoM)

Its the build im currently going for.
Since the heavy dragon gear gives the substats based on the colour, I believe the +100% doesnt apply to them. So when factoring in the defense increase and power decrease, the EP for a chestpiece would still be like 143 compared to a sunken’s 148.
+100% Substats on heavy armor would make it by far the best set in the game (probably 180 EP+ for a chestpiece with no gems or enchant), theres no way they would do that.
yes way, bteam improperly coordinated with vetex iirc for dragon drop stats so probably intended buff

If that’s the case then it would probably be nerfed very quickly. Besides the doc specifies that the buff shouldn’t apply to stats given by dragon colours which includes all of the heavy dragon armor substats.
