I haven’t used warlock in a while (mainly because I got locked out of the account that has the warlock 
) but it’s definitely pretty fun since wind is large + fast which goes well with thermo
I’m going to elaborate on this list, this is not an objective indicator of your magic is cool or not, this is just my opinion based on these factors (in order of importance) being who I run into ingame and how they act, how many out of every person I run into ingame run it (so how unique you are), and partly the visuals and how the magics play, this list is unserious

My Wood Paladin can defeat anybody.
(Aka my synergy and stats can defeat anybody)
Wood is really underrated, it just looks bad so no one uses it
Like 80% of the other light users I’ve seen have been conjurers, but I play light/basic warlock which is so off meta it’s not even funny. I can’t even beat Calvus half the time
