What I mean is “The player opens Minds instead of getting Awakenings, the player’s Fighting Style and Weapons can only have a M1 and special skill, etc.?”
Personally, I think the player would be limited to the seven Source Magics again, or gain access to a few of the Mutations immediately, like Poison. With Magics having unique moves, I don’t think there’d be a loss in build variety, aside from the Metamancers who are willing to reset files they worked their ass off on to go with what’s the strongest thing at that moment.
One of the major appeals, at least for me, was the ability to properly progress without needing to use magic. Taking that away would severely hinder build variety
AA was good, the best of its time, but it was like White Zombie, to its time, it was peak, but today its just out-dated garbage
AA aged… kinda bad ngl, AO is overall a much better game
Yeah, I can see that. It’s kind of like those old Roblox RPGs; they were fun back then, but now they’re just grindy or are bogged down by a bunch of other issues.
