And as for the powers, everyone’s born with only one except for some people who are born with maybe 2 or 3 abilities.

If everyone had superpowers I’m sure the people in government would be more like dictators as they have tremendous power that could be used to their benefit. The world would need to have crazy self control if everyone had superpowers but wanted everything to mainly stay the same. I’m sure crime would go up as people have more of a reason to accomplish what they want, and I’m sure people will try to be heroes while a lot die in the process. There would probably also be some sort of movement of world domination by multiple countries. Oh, and since we’re getting on the level of worldwide-chaos, Costco’s hotdogs may rise up in price.

Most likely it would vary from person-to-person.
If everyone had superpowers, than the world would go boom maximum after a year. Minimum - 1 sec, because there is a human I know who would pick power of launching nukes.

depends on the powers, but master telekinetics would stomp absolutely everyone ngl
Depends how early in history and depends if races or genders have any benefits also depends if the powers are based in science
First of all the government would most definitely create super-superhumans with insanely overpowered abilities and control people as if it were 1984
Second of all the human population would be densely separated and lowered due to more violent wars and murder being much more easy to get away with
Third of all many people would become reclusive due to fear of other powers and being killed

short answer:
society would instantly collapse.
long answer:
the vast majority of people would try to go out and “do something” with their powers. what they would try to do would vary incredibly, but, in relevant terms, what would happen is that every political leader would have thousands of superpowered assassins rushing to be the ones to kill them first. every institution or corporation would have detractors who are bold enough to destroy them. this leads to every government swiftly getting destroyed, every supply chain evaporating, and everything recognizeable about our civilization turning into hot air within a few hours. this is not to mention that a notable chunk of people will probably quit the workforce within minutes, figuring they don’t need to work anymore.
after that, the inhabited world will be left a scorched battlefield, and as food supplies dwindle, the largest case of looting and then subsequent mass famine the world has ever seen will occur.
past that, i’m not sure what will happen. it’s very likely the human population will dwindle to incredibly low numbers. i’m certain i wouldn’t survive, and you wouldn’t either.
I would just try to make things right and start civilisation anew
