I decided that this is worthy of its own topic, for the freedom to go looser into it. And because the creator of the original thread that I mentioned this in got pissed when I said it. I won’t name any names.
If you can put two magics together to make something good like Pressure, Mud, or Equinox; what if you put two magics together to make something bad?
For example, what if you combined Poison and Wind? Wind clears Poison, so would it just be wind with a different color?
What if you combined Water and Acid? Would it just be diluted acid?
Also feel free to talk about good combinations.

Since magic is based off of intent, probably not
That’s a fair argument. Since if you used two magics that synergize negatively, it won’t affect your performance.
However, it’s a full combination of the elements, not their effects. This is evidently different, due to Equinox being really powerful, and Shadow + Light being a negative combination.

Alright, but 1. Assuming minds are canon because I honestly can’t tell anymore you probably wouldn’t get opposing magics unless you had some serious issues and 2. Combining them would probably exclusively combine the good aspects, like the wind carrying the poison to reach further or something

it manages to extinguish the whirlpool magic’s water but it just
becomes a worse version of fire
I feel like that’s just result in a spinning whirlwind of very hot fire and steam.
Heat incarnate is just too cracked to be diluted by whirlpool, which isn’t even focused on water, rather spinning water.
What if you combined Life Magic and Death Magic?
Death is the absence of life, and all.
Would it just be nothing at all? A magic circle that creates nothing?
