What if ... warrior aura and awakening

As a premise to this topic, I’d like to say that this is not a suggestion, nor an idea or anything of the sort.
Earlier this morning I was reading a novel and this idea came to my mind, so I decided to write it down before I forgot it (this topic is basically a note for myself).

Warrior 1st awakening: weapon aura
Warrior 2nd awakening: armor aura

Effects:

  • Don’t know, something like a block bonus (blocking power increase, auto block, idk) or increased health based on the amount of points in weapon (kinda like dexterity contribution to AC in dnd).
  • The character has resistance to limb loss as if he was wearing an armor type outfit, whatever he is or not.

The concept of aura that I use to imagine this is emission (kinda like heat).
It’s basically something like:
magic-less people can only emit magic energy, while mages can control it (shaping it, giving it characteristics, giving it mass to accelerate, ecc)

Weapon users train to extend their emission ability to their weapon by making their magic energy flow into their weapons (kinda like conduction), forming what is called weapon aura. You can think of it as basically a sort of halo surrounding the weapon, extending the range that the user can emit magic energy from.

The armor aura is basically emitting magic energy from the whole body, forming a sort of barrier which shields the user more or less (more effective on magic than physical damage).

With this awakening a change of the class name from warrior to knight could fit.
Indifferent about it tho.
