They never say how enchanters actually do it so maybe these are the things he needs to make a new enchantment or something or upgrade to making better enchants
The powerful artifact is probably not a weapon since not everybody can use them, unless it’s a spirit strength arcanium weapon which is strange. Or maybe once the quest is complete you can pick between an artisan, arcanium, strength, or spirit weapon or a powerful scroll depending on your build.
Maybe it’s a machine that can create legendary enchantments? It seems like the pot with stuff in it is how they enchant stuff so maybe it’s like a really powerful black crystal pot. Like a Gus Fring superlab but with enchanting
If it’s a ship part, which would make sense since he’s also a ship part, then it’s likely not a hull or a sailcloth or ram since those get replaced by better ones. It’s probably a ship attachment of some kind. Maybe it’s not a ship attachment but something that goes on the ship when you have Enizor equipped
Maybe it’s a dark sea island locator, which would explain why it needs to be secret and also explain why he needed stuff from the shores of regular islands as well as stuff fron the dark sea. If Wotan finds out he’s gonna try and get it for himself so it has to be kept secret.
Note how he says it’s a very powerful artifact? Could that be that it’s a literal artifact that you can give to a deckhand? This makes sense since his function is ship related, but he did specifically say share with you and not share with Jimmy the Stinky who joined the crew yesterday.
