depends on what edge you’re looking for…
If you want to be a brooding swordsman from a decimated village now seeking revenge on those who wronged him and will destroy anyone in his path, use a conjurer. magics can vary a lot here for your second, depends on what other edgy factors define him/her.
If you just want some more generic edgy dude with super cool darkness powers he one day just woke up with, mages are probably better. the magics you should pick could vary wildly, but if you wanna be ezia level, then it probably would be shadow, darkness, and I guess pressure
warlocks have potential too, not sure what stereotype this falls under.
as for the gear, I would probably just rock a standard PvP set or whatever you like (mainly stuff like calvus gear or carina gear but that’s just my opinion, cernyx amulet is good too)
Conjurer definitely
conjurer with a black samurai set, silent blades, katana, and maybe a cultist staff
Conjuror or maybe Mage but they’d need to find another magic that’s edgy (maybe light). Their twink arms aren’t good enough for fighting styles and they aren’t really the best in terms of vitality.
