What is the best explosion type for PVP?

Pillar / Shockwave / Sphere

Personally I use Sphere for placed explosions, as its the best middle ground.

For self, I either use shockwave or sphere. Shockwave if you want to get people that tend to run away, sphere if you know you will be able to get in close and get the hit.

pillar is the strongest so got for that with placed
maybe shockwave for self

From my experience, placed shockwave and sphere explosions work best in PvP. Self sphere explosions can also work well.

Pillar doesn’t have a very good hitbox to make up for its slightly increased damage so I don’t think it is much worth using.
