imbuements are more versatile because they can give damage, size, or speed, rather than tiers only increasing size afaik
also imbuements carry effects as well rather than just size

And what that would do?
Bosses can have knockback reduction against this tool.
same thing i mentioned previously, just turning some rites into single target moves with higher damage
yeahh but then what good is it for pve if the only enemies that you’d need to use it for are hardly affected
mages dont struggle with non-boss npcs
Does Spirit really need that on-demand enhancement? We’re looking for the most problem-solving PvE tool, after all
True, but again, knocking Argos under some random debris, so he will fall into the void beneath isn’t a thing we want to happen.
Aight, the mage situation needs solving, and I found a way how to.
People are leaning towards the knockback tool more
Okay, first thing i want to say is that weapons relics and magic dont need any other tools to be good in pve (Weapons cant fly but thats besides the point), they have some weaknesses and thats fine as is.
Strengh howewer, is very different. Most pve encounters actively punish you for being close to the enemy, which is exacly what strengh builds are supposed to do. You’ve proposed the idea of giving them a throwable trident to deal damage at range. This could work, but the idea of fighting a dragon with nothing but this damn trident when all my other moves are unusable seems terrible to me. So what if we fix the core issue with strengh instead of getting band-aid solutions? What if we give awakenend strengh builds extended parry windows if they are too close to dodge (Obviously only applies to npc attacks)? What if you could stagger dragons by parrying their melee attacks? Honestly im just spitballing ideas here and i dont really know how exactly can we fix this problem but this trident thing is probably not the way to do it.
That is correct. I just felt like making a route-unique tool wouldn’t be fair, I can’t leave the other two stats (and magic) in a ditch.
That does sound interesting, but it might require too much coding. Besides, what are mages and oracles doing in the same fights? Just spamming blasts. So what would be different if a strenght user would just spam throw tridents, if we give them the same aoe?
Yeah just giving zerkers the trident would be kinda silly
If we are being realistic here then i dont think this is getting added either way, vetex probably isnt really checking suggestions anymore and hes busy with more important things like adding boobs to a roblox game
Well mages atleast have different flavours of spamming blasts like javelin and cannon
Thats the privilege of a ranged route. The melee enjoyers can be happy with what they get.
Aight, we mostly decided on what Magic gets, and are kinda solid on Spirit. What are we doing with Weapons? Stick with the “enemies move too much, so we need a tool to lock them in place”, or something else?
If anything, I’d say we give them metal gauntlets that will just passively disable limb loss. Weapons are generalists, they don’t have pve issues
equipping metal armor in vanity already does this (for every class)
rather than a tool for every class, id say we should just change pve to give bosses/monsters downtimes where they are exhausted and don’t attack or move
this benefits every class but especially berserkers where they can then unleash all of their close range attacks during that period before going back to wearing the boss down
Yes, but we’re really out of ideas here. Weapons don’t need a PvE assist tool at all.
That just doesn’t feel right to do. But, with how things are going, I am ready to scrap this whole idea.
Yeah, that’d be the most correct thing to do. The suggestion will be made about just the Strenght route and its tool. Screw consistency.
