probably ink, it feels too “dark” for a liquid magic and kinda feels like a reskinned water
said it multiple times and i’ll say it again
explosion is redundant as a base magic
granted it’s not the only redundant one I mean Ink and Paper are redundant but at least they don’t look like ass with the stock Roblox explosion effect
anything within a month is recent to me, i’m not good at time

not a fan of snow and ice because i feel like they are missed potential
ice is just cubes. its not very interesting to use and lacks iconic ice spikes
snow is powder. not very interesting stat wise either, lost its attribute of having usable blasts underwater and doesnt really have any snowflake in spells or anything iconic about snow.
those problems cant really be fixed unless every magic had uniqueish spells like in AA or extra effort was spent to differentiate ice from other solids and snow from sand, and either way they would probably be better together
on the other hand, the game already lacks cold based magics
fr, there’s like 4 cold ones total and at least 10 hot magics
explosion fire (warm wind ig?) plasma ash (acid maybe?) magma lightning
as well as all the hot lost and ancient magics

For Ancient Magics I really hate the idea of Balance magic, it’s either literally useless or it shreds your hp
