For me, this is Frida. I can’t decide what heritage she should have, but I’m thinking to make her Keraxian with a LIIIIIIIIITLE bit of Winterveil genes, hence her white hair.
So, what about you? What godlike genes does your character have?
Well it’s kind of complicated to explain but it begins somewhere in the AU. Note that this version if a bit different to the actual one since it is mostly built off of @Tobi 's idea.
Around the time of Cursebeard attacking Mount Olympus, two gods, Athena and Hephaestus are killed in this war. But the thing is their soul did not, so their soul basically wandered around the 7 and War Seas until they were reincarnated into a person. Them being Caitlin Crown and Eric Fallenfire.
Caitlin was the daughter of Plasma Captain Verdies, who was part Vastus and 15 feet tall or 450cm which I personally measured myself using crude pieces of info from the AA webcomic. Anyways Caitlin is part Human and Vastus measuring to 7’5" or 225cm tall. Her mother’s heritage hasn’t been decided yet so that’s for later. She is also in the Navy, currently a Commander right now.
Eric is a prince in exile from his kingdom, or what was left of it. To answer why he had departed his own kingdom behind is because he destroyed it, let me explain. You see since Eric and Caitlin basically have the souls of gods with them, their potential in magic and strength are HUGE. His father, the king at the time was afraid his son would usurp the throne after seeing his power. So he had turned the entire kingdom on him to the point where they tried to kill him. Him having no choice had to kill his people and burnt the kingdom, leaving it behind.
To summarise what their nationality is that both of them were Olympian once. Now one of them is part Vastus while the other is from Kingdom which I yet have to name.
Also I feel like I need to revamp a bunch of this lore and stuff again

Half ravennan half shell islandish or whatever it would be called
too little options for me to pick rn, though I always pick an IRL nationality to build an OC
my OC was originally were owner of the successful company in some seas, but got to the war seas and lost all of his power and memory… except for his last magic that he have learnt (light magic sunlight edition, but became moonlight somehow).
after a while (like in game 1 year) he got an idea and decided to make a clan,
but forgot that he even made the clan and just were doing whatever adventurer does,
then someone wanted to join his clan
but disappeared after being in clan for a week
I wrote a whole story so I put it under a drop-down to avoid a wall of text. Anyways, this is how the twins (Corrina and Vega) were created.
I’d like to imagine that Bethany (their mother) was from shell island (monoan), while Daniel (their father) was born as a criminal in whitesummit, but escaped his family’s abusive mannerisms and lived at frostmill, under hiding.
Bethany has Magma magic, so she worked as the village’s forge as she grew up. Daniel was magicless, but due to where he was born he could pas down genetics for cold magics despite his wife having an extremely hot magic.
Eventually Bethany leaves Shell island and heads to Ravenna to learn more about her magic. Daniel leaves frostmill and also travels to Ravenna, where he meets Bethany during her studies. The two marry, and after about Four years together they have a daughter named Shay, who can control acid magic. Shay Anchor isn’t very known (hence the lack of a middle name), but she was an idea one time (as with Gracie Anchor).
The three of them lived quite peacefully together with a good sun of money. Daniel and Bethany decided to become merchants, and hired a faithful captain and crew to help them ship resources to places in need. Shay tagged along, Reaching Ten years of age before Bethany was pregnant again.
This time, Bethany gave birth to a surprise pair of twins: First, Vega Javier Anchor and about eight minutes later, Corrina Raye Anchor.
As you’d expect, the pair of kids like red and green stuck out quite a lot to the Beth and Dan. They didn’t give up on them though, they were happy to have more children.
Years pass and Shay leaves to learn about her acid, while the two of them happily raise the twins, Vega eventually learning Fire magic thanks to attention from his mother and his fiery ambition to explore, while Corrina eventually learned Wind magic, courtesy of her energetic demeanor and Daniel’s cold magic genetics.
Eventually, something terrible befalls the five. During a small trip to sailor’s lodge, Vega, 12 years old and a lover of pacing around, is seen running upstairs and out of sight from his parents. In places where there are a lot of people, Corrina is shy and tends to get stressed due to sensory overloading, with all the noise. This makes her usually stay right next to her mother, following her like how a duckling follows a mother duck.
As Vega curiously strolls around upstairs, several figures bearing ominous dark hoods with sketchy sigils on them ambush the boy and kidnap him.
For the rest of the day, Vega is held in hostage until midnight, where he is ferried away on a stolen boat. Bethany and Daniel realized too late that he was gone.
And in that same evening, a double tragedy hit the family. A thunderstorm attacks the family’s boat - a ketch, now that they’d saved up enough money for one - was ravaged and destroyed by the ocean. Daniel and Bethany eventually drowned, But shay was safe - she was a mage who left the family some time ago to study, remember?
Anyways, Corrina was stuck in the wreck as well and survived? Well, it’s because of an extremely strange genetic she was born with, making her as light as a sparrow. With wind magic, she was basically capable of flying - and fly, she did.
She flies back to shell island where her grandfather, Randall Anchor, was living. Until she is 17 years old, she lives under his wing.
As for Vega, he is taken to an extremely remote facility. In this facility, they torture and experiment on his body constantly for the space of five terrible years. There, he meets a man named Morden, and at the end of those five years, the two of them escape with a friend named Tucker. And so, the story of Arcane odyssey begins.
In summary:
My character would be mostly latin, but in the Arcane universe he is just a really angry prodigy in fire/magma magic, god powers is for weak asses!
i guess if we ever get a snowy sky island or smth i’d say that, i want them to come from somewhere magical and cold since all my files use cold magics
Asura Storm comes from no specific place yet. I hope we’ll get a fishing-based, small island like Ironport or an underwater kingdom like Fishman Island. Someplace water-related
Hisashi Atlantic on the other hand is Keraxe on his mother’s side and his father comes from some sky island place in the Nimbus Sea

Joe is born Vistarian, and introduces himself as Vistarian—prior to committing fraud in Ravenna to get a easy way to become a general in the Bronze Legion t̶o̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶s̶c̶u̶f̶f̶l̶e̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶A̶r̶g̶o̶s̶, which is where he fakes being a Ravennan. Because I made Joe an exception to the usual expectations to a protagonist, he’s not apart of any special lineages; he lacks the magic that everyone around him wields, nor is there anything special within his blood. In all around, he’s a nobody in the War Seas.
