After the recent fleet saga and the auction house inflation, what is actually truly valuable?
Is sunken even valuable at this point?
Why would drachma inflation affect sunken values? There is still the same amount (or same increment in it atleast) in circulation and similar demand.
This is true for pretty much everything except for stuff like enchant scrolls which can be directly obtained from fleets.
Besides, have you even seen sunken prices in the marketplace ingame
- nothing rare from normal chests (lost scrolls/techniques/acrimony)
- nothing from sealed chests, including dark sealed (some exotic gems, enchant scrolls, most ship parts, DS armor sets)
- nothing that can be bought with drachma (unsure what it could even be lmao)
- nothing that you can get from normal charts (blasted/frozen/crystalline/archaic/drowned modified items, gone due to exploring task)
soon enough, sunken value will probably also drop due to the sunken bag milestone rewards rolling in, and it will either keep dropping or maybe stablise at some point
what I think will stay at LEAST somewhat valuable:
- seasonals (obviously)
- sunken (i believe in the heart of the economy)
- mythical/lost chart items (gilded modified items, lost envoy/lost diplomat, those weird move enhancing books)
- profession services (jewels, potionmaking, cooking, mostly because lvl 10 is insane and not everyone is going to do allat on all their files)
- boss/miniboss drops (specifically the relevant ones like str weapons or maybe relics, unsure how popular spirit is rn)
- anything else that fleets+inflation didnt nuke (maybe some DS reagents like white lily?)
in general if you want to invest into something, invest into profile progression and seasonals, the first is always a bonus and the second will always have collectors ready to pay for it

If you get a single file maxed with em all you can just transfer stuff through the bank guys
not gonna be needed if you can just switch to a different file to do the task without paying someone (but it is still hell just to max on one file, so newer ppl may buy into the services but not those who have been here a long time)
As long as new people join the game, there will be a constant need for these services
Also even if we account for the paramount bank file tranferring, it is still a lot of work for someone playing the game casually
maybe a bit off topic but are there any interchange gels left? If there are they could probably be considered very valuble
from what i’ve heard there are some in circulation, but from the acrimony being almost a guarantee from rare chests+potion lvl 9 allowing 3 potions from 1 arcimony (tested that myself, it works), the value of these will drop too
never saw them as anything more than a collector’s item, though, since stat reset does not stack in some way, therefore gels only being good for mass interchange parties

by “rare” chests i mean the ones hard to find, which is mystic/legendary
i did not mean “rare” as in the actual rare chests
Sunkens, Should always keep value forever.
Seasonals are obvious but not easy to obtain.
