What kind of Villians/Heros do you like/hate in media and other sources and why?

(Sorry for the long title also this thread will contain spoilers for stuff so don’t read if you don’t want to get possibly spoiled)

Just curious to know what kind villian’s/hero’s you like or hate in media or other sources.

As for me the “hero” I hate the most in media is blonde sasuke.

Why? Because he’s literally just sauske but blond. The typical prideful rival that barely respects the mc until he gets his butt kicked later on in the story by the mc.

I hate how EVERY villain has to have a motive for being evil. Now, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE character backstory, but with some franchises trying to integrate it, it ruins the plot. I wish Villans could just be villains

Doom Eternal villans having to have a backstory. I mean, the story of Doom used to be super simple, but the amount of backstory you have to go through is tiring

idk i feel like bakugou is sometimes the only relatable character, and it makes sense why he doesnt respect poopy head deku seeing as how he grew up with the prideful mentality of being above his peers.

but thats just how i see it

I hate villians that try too hard to be “deep” and they justify their means with a real world problem thanos. Not saying a villain can’t be that way, because that can be interesting to an extent if handled well, it’s also more interesting than “hHEEHe i HAve NO moTIve foR BeING evIL”. As for heroes, I hate the annoying ones that talk about friendship nonstop.

Yeah bakugo’s background is the entire reason why he’s that way and that’s understandable I guess? If anything I just want him to gets seriously humbled.

idk why but i really didnt like gowther in 7ds just cause of his actions and backstory. That man manipulated everyone and the manga pretty much says poo poo fake sexual harrasment everything is justified. Also hated the supreme diety from the same anime, all the build up and she didnt even play a big role and all she did is pull up in the middle of a war and put a temporary truce just to put a curse on her daughter then peaces out.

Yeah from the first two seasons I’ve seen hating gowther is understandable. As for the supreme diety yeah she definitely is wasting character potential.

I tried to watch Boku no hero but that blonde man (Bakugo) drives me off from the show instantly

I hate villains and heroes from soap opera in my country because they represent angel and demon

also, the show can sometimes be homophobic and I kinda tired of them using Islamic theme and a real story as their story

but atleast it had funny crappy CGI
just search Indosiar sinetron if you curious

Yeah bakugo is hateable but I’d still recommend my hero academia since the characters and plot are well written ( except for bakugo). It’s not the best shonen of all time . It isn’t the best anime in existence it’s just good.

I kinda intrested on the story but that guy really drives me off from the show and ruin the feeling

and I don’t really watch that many anime
mostly just anime my young 90’s weeb mom (yes she used to be a weeb) anime I watch

I hate anyone who fails to use common sense, hero or villain.

Ex: Villains with time-travel abilities try to change time in their favor and protags can only follow their jumps. The villains are all individually immortal and never age, as well as knowing the necessary steps to succeed. So just send several of your immortal robots back in time and immediately jump forward because the people chasing you have no means of returning to their time on their own. You either outlast them if they stay or immediately win if they jump with you because your people are immortal.
