What Made This Hole (Minecraft)

Ok, so we have Minecraft on our Chromebooks, and so some of my schoolmates decided to make me run a Minecraft server on there. Because there are so many people, griefing is everywhere. But, let’s assume that some guy didn’t just break like 5 fences and leave. What on earth could’ve made this break in my pig pen? I’ve ruled out Creepers because they’re too destructive, and lightning because there was a tree covering it.

as stock said, it’s likely bedrock lag.

Other than that it was probably a griefer.
