My main file’s name, Maddox Gates, wasn’t really chosen by me. I just hit the “Random Name” button and let WoM’s hometown and last name systems do the rest. I wanted to name my Warlock, Chuck Grey, after a certain character from Dead Rising 2 and wanted to make a villain character (which I chickened out of). My Conjurer, Synthia Banks, didn’t get her name chosen for any particular reason, but I stumbled upon Synthia and liked the sound of it.

My character’s name represents their magics; Dawn for Sun Magic, and Cinders for Magma & Ash magic. My character also just really likes the sunrise as well as the idea of what Dawn represents, which is also one of the reasons they named Dawn island that

for my main file (maple silverthorn) i scrolled first names until i found something that sounded nice then just spammed random for last name
I chose Simon because of adventure time. Fallenfire was chosen because it has almost has the same syllables as Petrikov, and it sounds cool.
For my fire conjurer, I originally was going to make him like an Avatar type build back in the days of WoM (Fire magic, earth magic, water, slash, Aether lightning) so I chose a Chinese name, which was Jinhao. Even after changing how I was going to make his build the name just kinda stuck with me. I didn’t even change the last name of Cutlass, I just like it that much
For my other two main files, I just kinda chose their first names because I liked them, but my Water mage in particular is a bit more interesting. She was originally going to be Melody Lamina, but then I changed it to Melody Harp because there was a big music theme with her regarding her water spells
Dominic Clay was the third file. I just liked the name of Dominic

My main file’s name, Ace Cinders (Fire Conjurer) is actually simple, i chose Ace because i love me a good old reference, and Cinders just fit because of the magic. It was originally Banks in WoM though.
Fang is a Maximum Ride reference, Alicia is a slight reference to Alice in Wonderland, which I haven’t even read but I know the general look of the main character, Lynn was just after looking through the characters names list, Isaiah was a name I received from some pirate thing at Disney World, Victoria I just came up with, Lukas may be drawn from the Minecraft Storymode character, but I have no idea why I thought it was a good name for a female character (but im sticking with it), and Jack Frost/Raus are an obvious reference and the name of winter in Zanshi.
I think what got me to name My wind mage Corrina was actually because I was thinking of characters from smash, and the first one that came to my head was corrin? So i picked corrina for her.
As for her brother Vega, I recalled the street fighter dude named vega and named him after that character.
Ashley steel (My crystal mage i don’t talk all too much about) Is named after my mom.
All of the others simply had names I found by random and liked.

Ray Silverthorn is my main file
Ray is a very neutral and nice name and I like it. Silverthorn is because it’s a badass name and because he has grey hair (Yes I did that because of the last name)
All of my characters were just named by random selection lol

I didn’t even use the randomizer button, I just scrolled around and picked whatever sounded best
Back in WoM, I had these:

- Emma Silver
Mike because it’s the closest thing to my main, and then I randomly choose a last name that fits. My first save was Mike Audens, my second was Mike Adams, My 3rd was Mike Lindburg, etc
