I’ve been trying to figure at what fighting style can use a specific magic to boost it further, or a magic that fuses with your attacks. Also looking for some that go with plasma the most since I have plasma currently, the more info the better. Let me know and thanks 
metal magic because it has good damage bleed effect nice size and fighting style will make up for its slowness

Magma is good to use with fighting styles, because after the awakening you get your magic imbued into your fighting styles. Fighting styles has a playstyle that requires close combat, so it makes up for magma’s low speed.
Following this same concept you could also try metal for even more damage.

I just matched the styles with their status effect (bleed for iron leg, soaked for sailor, and burn for thermo) and just put the magics that synergize with that status effect in a list. tl;dr just use iron leg for plasma
Basic: works with anything
Boxing: works with anything
Cannon: works with anything
Iron leg: acid water earth fire ice lightning magma metal poison plasma sand glass crystal explosion ash
Sailor: water ice lightning snow
Thermo: acid fire magma wood sand explosion ash

its very good
explosion cannon is really funny cause you dont gotta farm for explosive cannonballs anymore which is real nice
