What magic pairs best with shadow?

I’m running a full shadow mage, what second magic should I pick when I awaken? I know shadow doesn’t have many synergies, but its a solid, well-rounded magic and I want to know which magic would be the best to complement it. I’m currently leaning towards glass, but if another magic would be better, please let me know. I appreciate any and all feedback.

i’d say poison though, you can hit a 20% size beam for some sweet DOT damage every once in a while

Shadow doesn’t have any positive synergies last time I checked; its only synergy is negative with Light, removing the Blinded status. Assuming you want something hard-hitting like it, I’d go with Poison since its status effect does 100% of the damage of the attack that inflicted it, and the clouds are a pain in the ass to avoid, especially if you’re a Berserker.

you can still use light perfectly fine as your damage cant be lowered by your own status effects and neither status effects cancel eachother

I knew about not reducing damage, but I thought that the statuses still got removed.

The wiki might be gaslighting me.

id go for another magic that is pretty good at status effect removal. maybe magma?

no magic in particular pairs really well with shadow but poison is a good secondary

im going shadow as my second magic for my sand conj but thats just me, i agree with everyone else go with some other real good magic cuz shadow pretty much has no interactions outside of the one with light that was mentioned
