What’s even the point of brig beds once the story ends

Evidently, brig beds no longer work once you’ve completed the story of a particular sea, so why do they even exist? Once you’ve beaten the game, they become completely useless, since you’ll never respawn in your brigs bed.

I hope this is a bug and vetex fixes it, because if not, brigs basically lost one of their most interesting features, that being basically just functioning as a portable town

(Speaking of portable town, I wonder if bigger ships can have shopkeepers like the borealis in aa)

I hate it dawg, I died twice to the poison dragon corpse while exploring Thrylos Crossing and I had to sail from nsb all the back

Not to mention dying at Fort Castrum is just as of not more frustrating

It’s barely been 14 hours, and I’m already sick of sailing from the Nimbus Sea Border back to wherever I died. While the change does give more use to camps, removing such a good feature from the Brig in the Bronze Sea is simply annoying. I do hope that this change is reverted, considering the massive inconvenience it can cause people.

I’d rather not, I want the Borealis to be kept as a unique feature to the Seven Seas, and not just some cool piece of lore replicated for the sake of plumping up AO

this feature exists apparently because it would be unfair for people trying to defend their island if someone can just respawn and keep trying
but I don’t get why this feature is still enabled in Clanless servers, just keep it on for clan servers

how do u know if a server is clanless or not

Yeah this absolutely terrible, I haven’t fought a single claim yet I’ve had to respawn next to mount orthys every single time, Maybe they could add more respawn points if it’s really that big of a problem, or a trigger for the respawning?

Just look at the player list and see if everybody has a clan or not

Discussed this issue in the update thread i made in depth as well and its nice to see more people getting frustated tbh- especially the fort thing.
I think it would be neat to like. Be able to select one of the towns as spawnpoint- this would also fix the blatant issue of spawnkilling because if many spots exist, it is SO much easier to not get ganked…

Also, Islands do not really need more defenses anyway, can’t one place like… 40+ mortars :skull:
