What should I use to animate my series?

I asked this question almost 3 years ago and I think it’s fine for me to do this again.

  • Animatic
  • Google Slides
  • EFAL
  • Gacha Club/Life 2
  • EFALnimatic (animatic with EFAL quality for faster production)

For Gacha Club/Life 2, I feel like this would be the fastest option however there’s lots of technical issues such as:

  • No importing backgrounds (Life 2)
  • No scene props (Life 2)
  • Less character customization (Club) (I need the extreme adjustments for my protagonists’ appearance)

I can’t decide whether to use Gacha Club or Gacha Life 2 for these since I can’t have both benefits, but I feel like Gacha Life 2 is easier to fix. I could easily erase the background and add in my own one.

From shortest production time to longest production time, left to right, here’s how I’d sort them depending on if I have to do background shit:

Without background editing in Gacha:

  • Gacha > EFAL > EFALnimatic > Google Slides > Animatic

With background editing in Gacha:

  • EFAL > Gacha > EFALnimatic > Google Slides > Animatic

ok so i’m currently thinking about what FAV scene i should try to animate as an example and i’m thinking:

  1. fight scene
  2. a normal chill scene like a restaurant
  3. portal to the basement
