What to do with rare fish

i have recently aquired a giant basking shark and i dont know what to do with it (this also applies ti future rare fish i may obtain help)

cook it, sell it, let it rot for bones for potions/gems

but take a picture first

Golden fish: let them rot for golden scales
Giant exotic fish: cook them, they’re likely giant sharks
Legendary fish: cook them for scales and food

cooking gold fish also gives you the scales lol.

If it’s red green or blue, put it in the stew.
