What was the most traumatic math-related experience you had?

still 2? :fr:

incorrect! it is (sqrt(2)e^(2iπ^2))^2

Not for long it won’t be

no it isn’t

e^(2iπ^2)=1 by Euler’s formula
sqrt(2)*1=sqrt(2) by multiplicative identity
sqrt(2)^2=2 by cancellation

therefore (sqrt(2)e^(2iπ^2))^2 = 2, which yeah dream got right but i just thought his answer wasnt fancy enough which is why it is incorrect

eulers formula is e^(2ipi) = 1 not e^(2ipi^2) = 1

idk me big stupid durrr

(i thought it was e^(iπΘ) where theta is the angle)

Only one thing came to my mind when I read “Euler” and it’s definitely not related to math
