What was the Thought Process Behind This

Lately, many complaints about savant being too overpowered and stealing the main gimmicks of classes such as warlord, conjurer and warrior have risen due to the changes made to the build on the update. Savants got too powerful by being able to use strength weapons, imbue them with spirit energy or magic and also being capable of using warrior abilities with them due to the low stat requirement, and today in the .16 patch someone had the brilliant idea to increase the strength weapon stat requirement from 50% of the regular weapon requirement to 65%, in hopes of nerfing the class

but obviously, as always this change has not been implemented very well and the result is that savants can still use at least three skills on certain strength weapons by allocating their stats into a certain order (they can still use colossal cleave) and that warlods now can no longer use a multitude of skills on their strength weapons

my zweihander (i can use all the abilities if i go 137 137 76)

warlord’s greatbow:

so in short, this change fixed nothing, savant is still nearly the same as before the patch and warlord has been massively nerfed

i won’t talk about the bronze sea being unplayable because honestly this is way more infuriating
also you can go 148 148 53 and probably unlock even more strength abilities
atp just give savant the absorption powers so that he can steal even more class gimmicks and make other builds irrelevant

So warlord got gutted while savant is just giggling cause the nerf intended for them did almost nothing :skull:

what is the balance team on this time?

savant can’t have 2 stats at 140 or higher at level 175, the game won’t let you

i think you can but you gotta order the allocation perfectly

Savantlords got gutted too, no one was safe

Literally just nerf the savant imbue, there are a myriad better ways to fix this and they pick the worst
