My personal favourites were Ben 10, Danny Phantom, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Yu-Gi-Oh, Billy and Mandy and Jake Long. Just wanted to see what people liked watching years ago.
Pokemon, since my family had loads of CDs with the first pokemon series on them (from the shops, not downloaded).
I am kind of surprised that when I watched a few of the episodes again on Netflix, I thought the animation quality was terrible.
i liked lazy town before it was cool
thats pretty poggers
I watched Angry Birds toon (when they’re still cool) and classic Dragon ball (when Yamcha still relevant) , I was scared the heck out of Squidward back when I was a kid
I can’t pick a favourite, bit I frequently discuss old cartoons with friends and family, so I can dump a lot of thing I remember that seems interesting.
We watched a surprising amount of anime as kids, actually, so imma compile some of those.
Spoilers for 10+ years old anime, also many pictures
The first 3 Yu-Gi-Oh’s, from the og to 5D’s, all were aired on TV, and we as kids watched them.
This one called Deltora Quest. I learned it was based on a book series, but I never read them and until then I will enjoy the memories of the absolutely atrocious CGI this show had.
Good ol’ DBZ, haven’t personally watched too much, because “hurr durr they fight with blood so show bad”, but I vividly remember the part where Goku tells Picolo to just shoot the laser thing, then dies and later runs on the big bridge while munching those magic apricots.
There was this one called M.A.R., most of the characters are familiar to me, although the name itself isn’t, but I assume I’ve probably watched some of it.
Some dude with a talking oversized flail or something.
Brace yourself for the next two, they’re weird but istg they were good.
There’s this one about catgirls with superpowers fighting monsters.
It’s super old but I still remember an episode where they kill Godzilla using a magic tambourine, so it’s probably good.
Tokyo mew mew is the actual name I think, I know it as meow meow kitties or something weird like that.
More stereotypical girl stuff, but it was a good show, I swear.
It’s these mermaids singing to fight against the evil mermaids who also sing, imagine rap barrels but singing and instead of dissing each other it’s child friendly songs about love, friendship and thing like that.
The name of the original is Mermaid Melody pichi pichi pitch.
There’s definetely more I’m forgetting, and also the standard stuff like SpongeBob and Phineas and Ferb on top of that, but these are the most interesting to share, I think.
Tom and Jerry
I don’t think any new ones are being made but that show was a part of me as a kid
wait a minute, is this the inspiration for mew mew kissy cutie from undertale?
Adventure time, Ben 10, Steven universe, regular show
And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for you meddling kids!
Item #: SCP-2835
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-2835 is to be permanently contained in its locker at Site-59. As its anomalous effects only surface when a human subject plays SCP-2835 in a VCR, further viewing has been prohibited by the order of Dr. Naismith.
Description: SCP-2835 is a VHS video cassette of a previously unreleased episode of The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican , a short-lived WENR-TV cartoon series from the fall of 1950. The episode is titled “Love Me, Do It!”
SCP-2835 is longer than the average episode of the show, running for 30 minutes as opposed to five minutes. Although the plot remains largely the same (Paddy the Pelican searching for his long-lost father), the content of SCP-2835 changes depending on the reaction of the viewer. The title character (referred to as 2835-1) will periodically interact with the viewers and prod them to express their opinion of the cartoon so far, often in a defensive, demanding, and threatening manner. Contrary to earlier episodes of the show, SCP-2835-1 displays characteristics of extreme paranoia and demands constant affirmation.
Pokémon
Yugioh, Ben 10, Teen Titans, Naruto, Steven Universe, Regular Show, Power Rangers(I was 8 ok), Pokemon (Jelly Donuts) and that’s all I remember
Could be, all I know is catgirls killing Godzilla with a magical tambourine was a good anime.
Adventure Time is a gem tbh, probably one of the last good shows on CN
Strangely, I wasn’t ever really interested in Pokémon as a kid, but the games look decent
Yee, the games were mega pog (until they came to Switch e.e)
Pokémon Go though
Tom and Jerry, to satisfy my appetite for violence without making me look like a psycho
OH YEHHHH, okay new list
- Pokémon
- Tom and Jerry
- Looney Toons
- Pink Panther
- Ant and the Aardvark
That’s one pog list
