What will ao pvp be like

What is it like. What stat builds will be ideal. And what strays will be crucial. For example predicting or blocking. Will mages be viable and will mobility be open for mages and will mobility be a big part of pvp in ao. Add other things if you want

Only testers know as of rn, it’ll probably be hard to describe without playing yourself. However it’s been described as aerial, movement-based, dynamic, stuff like that. It’s still unfinished though so nobody knows how the final product will be like yet

Unknown yet, since most builds are in their fetus phases and some haven’t even begun to be worked on yet

They’ll probably both have their appropriate circumstances

Every build will go through balancing to make them all relatively viable

I imagine so, with high jumps, the speculated “dash-impact” spell, and other movement-influencing lost spells such as hover.

no more jump into the air and aim blasts now its aim moves

What about magic horizontal mobility

Just use dodges, everybody gets dodges. There’s also the dash impact spell which I’m assuming would function like a grab but without the grab and future lost spells that could offer mobility

You can still get in the air while dodging if you jump during it or if the ground lowers where you dodge towards

Ohh alr, always thought you could dodge mid air

I thought so too when I first got into AOTU. If you look through the patch notes though and vetex’s messages you can find evidence for what im saying
