Why are the players supposed to get fucked over because of Vetex’s incredibly great foresight, then? If Vetex is going to add 20 different magics, then he should give equal love and care to each and every one.
Especially considering that a new player has no idea that the decision he’s making while creating a new slot may affect his entire gameplay and can only be undone by finding an item that has proven time and time again to be extremely hard to find.
Of course, this could all be avoided if there was a system where all lost and ancient magics could be gotten through means independent of your current magics… Just saying.

Were AO players, of course we have to keep playing to find the rarest magic in the game.
Oh I agree that should be the case. But that likely just won’t be. Look to AA’s mutations list. It’s incredibly uneven. Shadow has around half the options as the others do—and that’s with “dark lightning” and stuff.
I’m saying that wood, sand, etc will probably be more limited in their mutations. There’s just not anywhere to go. Even if Vetex wanted to.

Or you’re stun locked by 2 magics and getting nuked
It will likely be heat magic into hot lost magics, cold magics into cold lost magics, solids into solids etc

He’s already thought up shit like “poison lightning” so he can just make up “sandy wood” or some shit
When in doubt, just start stacking random magics together and call it a lost magic
Sand should totally get sandstorm mutation (and maybe quicksand cuz why not)

I don’t even have an argument here but I’m tired of negativity like this over features that aren’t even in the fucking game yet. This isn’t even a feature yet and you guys still find ways to complain about it.

Poison lightning isn’t even that lame either it’s probably a lightning with cool visuals that poisons people, that’s kinda cool.

I’m prob gonna run Vamp+Radius fist with sailor on the side
I would go for something heat related, currently i use magma metal but i could see myself using something like phoenix if it is a size magic, i don’t know what could be my third magic though…
I also would love to have vampirism on my berzerker, alongside cannon fist and another fighting style that i have no idea what i will be using
