The title.
In WoM, the Seasonal Events weren’t very fleshed out, with just some decoration and new items you could get for a limited time by grinding certain tasks.
Do you guys think that in AO, we’ll have like fully fleshed out events for holidays where you can do cool stuff like fighting a new boss, Trick or Treating (for Halloween), Egg Hunting (for Easter), Turkey Hunting (For Thanksgiving), etc?
I’m honestly fine with what we had in WoM, but I really hope that more is done for these holidays
I could imagine there being a mix of quests and just, y’know, events. I don’t imagine major updates for these events side from major holidays like Christmas (which WoM never got, sad).
New mini bosses would be great but I’m also just fine with general quests that could make use of what’s present. The Dark Sea holds many opportunities for all kinds of events. You can explore it and might stumble onto a spooky island containing a spooky quest to slay a spooky shark for a spooky reward. Like One Piece filler arcs or some shit.

I doubt that stuff like new islands or bosses would be added, maybe if they cycled year round but if it’s a one time thing then spending time on a mini boss seems like a waste of time compared to more permanent content

maybe theres some sort of season island, which is where cool seasonal things happen on it

Oh this fucking dude which was one shotting everything on the arena when he was mad cuz he lost half of his health and which dude have like 0,0000000001% chance to drop anything and to kill him you required to go there with whole clan instead of old good solo?
This fucking bullshit was cool only for the first kill, but not damn farm. We are not in the dark souls + even dark souls bosses don’t kill you by script which don’t let you hide anywhere.
Of course, I love difficult bosses, but not those that kill you with a script without a chance of salvation and make you compete in the speed of your ship with the entire server so that they don’t kill it without you, and at the same time there are 20+ people there, and the kill counts if you inflicted 10% damage and it is reset after death, which in any case will overtake you with a script, of course I survived once when I put on a full set for hp and hid at the end of the arena, but even so it is impossible to continue the fight, because you alone survive.
I just hope we get something small for the holidays. What WoM had was actually pretty good and I think it should stay that way.

You guys gotta keep in mind most people go meet family and stuff during holidays. People actually go outside and do something.
It would be better if there wasn’t any boss grinding to do or some daily filler quest because that would make many people grind them to get the limited items.
And be honest, would you want to sit all day and grind limited items in a game that you’re never gonna use? Most people just keep them for trades but (correct me if I’m wrong) I heard the seasonal items from the events in ao are gonna be non-tradeable.

Yes, 100% good idea.
Then everyone will just go touch grass instead of playing the game. (Yeah, touching grass at winter sounds painful)
Personally, I don’t think I will touch any grass during the holidays, especially during winter. But the pressure to grind items that are never gonna come back is just not really pleasant. I just hope ao won’t turn into one of those games where you leave for a month or two and come back to a completely different game
