Is the arcane universe set on Earth, or somewhere else? (need this for headcanon purposes)
I guess you could say Earth. Tho after being blown up a couple times it looks a bit different.

I would assume it takes place on Earth, and AO is set in the Mediterranean (because it’s supposed to take place where Mount Olympus fell, so logically this should be the sea around it.) I’m not sure where AA would take place since the geography in this universe is changed significantly due to magic attacks, but I would guess that AA was either somewhere around the Caribbean or Oceania (Australia)

AO is set on Earth but there is a change:
A Greek God, Prometheus, gives humans magic, while in Green Mythology he would give fire. The magic is what caused the map to look so different, as when Theos and Durza first fought, there was a missed blast that instead wiped out most of the world’s population and severely wrecked the map, turning everything to islands.
The largest landmass, Magius, was formed after Durza’s self destruction with the end of AA, and the Peacekeeper (player) fixed it up.
TLDR: yeah it’s earth
I have a mini theory that Magius is like an altered Australia. The only problem with that is that there is definitely no snow in Australia, but that could just be a result of magic so who knows
