What would each character’s stat build be? Their favorite armor stats?
Exiled and Minotaur would of course both be Warlords. Exiled for using a weapon and a fighting style, and Minotaur for using a big heavy axe and having strength armor.
Exiled would use his unique fighting style of damage reduction, and Minotaur would be one of those warlords like Argos and Evander who totally could learn a sick fighting style, and just don’t anyway.
Exiled would definitely go for Defense/Resistance (with knockback musgravites), and Minotaur would go for Power/Intensity.
“Dear lord, he’s yapping about pointless shit again.”
Verdies I think would be a Warlock. His title is literally “Angry Pirate Captain” it just fits. Verdies would absolutely punch you dead between the eyes if he got the chance.
Verdies would absolutely metamance, but assuming he wouldn’t, he’d go for Power/Size. He’s too angry to take time to aim.
I’d be cool with imagining so, but I don’t think it is.
No Greek God has been known to enchant it, especially not with Phoenix.
I’m really not sure what it is.
Strange since it’s made of arcanium which wasn’t yet invented in the gods’ time. Maybe the orb on the head of the staff is the spirit weapon and the staff itself is arcanium, so it’s a hybrid weapon. Either that or the lore for it was just completely reworked.
Arsen is of course a conjurer, since he has that sword (never see him use it though ).
Sage, maybe magic-strength-weapons savant like Calvus? She’s determined to prove herself so I can see her trying to master multiple forms of fighting. She uses an arcanium mace in the webcomic so I think it’s safe to say she’d be a conjurer at the very least, but I think she’d know strength too because she has the sort of hotheadedness you’d expect from someone who knows magic but is willing to settle fights with the fists anyway. I think she’d be a much better savant than Calvus though, lol.
Gunslingers wouldn’t have any build, they would just quit the game after getting killed 200 times by the same player for untold reasons
Kraken would be a paladin. Spirit Weapons are extremely rare, but he’s sunk enough ships and traveled the seas far enough to have found at least a few.
Trigno and Rupin I don’t even know it changes every few days. I swear they’ll be in the middle of a battle and take a break to chug interchange potions. “This build will be the meta I need to beat him for sure! Won’t be like the last time!”
I’m running out of characters, I think I’ll do Alalea’s guard captains last. Jace is obviously a conjurer. Reginald I think would be a knight, learning a fighting style that utilizes the lower half of the body like Iron Leg to complement his dual Colossal Cutlasses. Drake would be a knight with spirit-imbued bullets. Arus I believe would be a conjurer. Sure he could be a warrior, but he’s only got one weapon and it’s a ranged one, so I feel like he’d have a ranged ability such as magic to match his tactics as well.
Ehhh, Elemental Curse users are kind of a class of their own.
Oh no, who the heck is Sage?
Oh, the pirate who shows up that one time?
Idrk with that one, I’ll take your word for it.
He seems like too much of a derranged brute to figure out what they do. I honestly feel like he’d end up a Berserker, since it wasn’t really an option back then for somebody to be powerful without magic.
Yeah she’s the captain of the Emerald Skull Pirates, captured Altavista and forced its citizens to flee to Dawn’s Refuge. She used Lightning Magic in the game and didn’t have any weapons. Wasn’t even a story boss, just a miniboss if anything. She played a much bigger role in the webcomic though, did some pretty cool stuff. Also may or may not be Grand Admiral Valencia’s daughter but who knows if that was ever canon or not
Fair opinion, I can see it. He’d have a big advantage with his size too, being a vastus hybrid. I’m still fond of the paladin idea but I can’t lie it’s a fun mental image imagining a bulked-up Kraken running on water and bulldozing straight through your ship lol.
I don’t think he’s necessarily too deranged to figure out Spirit Weapons, since his control over his magic is pretty precise. He could make sharks and even control gigantic tentacles of Shadow over very long distances. He is insane, yes, but I don’t think he is in the way that inhibits his combative skill.
Ah that’s true. Usually when you think of a Spirit Weapon user you’d imagine someone much more level-headed. There’s no rules saying an absolutely insane person couldn’t master Spirit Weapons, but this topic is all about vibes and themes anyway, so that’s what holds the most weight.
But Kraken with a hoard of all kinds of Spirit Weapons is quite a frightening thing to imagine, for me personally. A dozen odd trinkets slung over his shoulder, all plundered from misfortuned sailors, and now he can channel the power of numerous gods alongside his ludicrously dangerous Shadow Magic. It would cement him further as one of the big dogs of the Seven Seas, a real threat.
But anyway, back to your berserker idea. What fighting styles do you think he would use? Sailor Style and Cannon Fist are probably the ones that would work best with him, though I could see Vampirism too.
Cannon Fist seems likely enough, but I think whatever he’d have is something that doesn’t exist yet.
it’d probably be about destructive force, so that he can easily create a wave in the water. Most likely unobtainable for players until ancient magic levels.
