Thinking that AO would be at the end of the year I would have to guess that the next major update would have to be in February or March so I would think an St. Patrick’s Day Event would do. Cosmetic Seasonal Items would have to be:

The way that you would get it is by having a separate Event Scroll when the player joins the game filled with a 5 Leaf Clover. On each clover would be a silhouette of each of the items listed above.
Around the map, visible rainbows could be seen throughout the map and at each end would be a chest full of one or two of the event items plus galleons. I know that in AO smaller chests have a minimum amount of small items allowed so maybe other items like maybe a random weapon could be in the chests. If Vetex really wanted to, the chests could be pots of gold instead and when you click them an animation would play where you reach into the pot of gold. After a while if the prizes on both ends of the rainbow weren’t both collected or they were collected on both sides, then the rainbow would despawn. I was thinking they would spawn back maybe 5-20 minutes after.
At the end of the event of you were to collect all 5 items then you would be able to unlock the the special event item. I was thinking that this may be like a very Lucky Fishing Rod that catches Legendary Fish more easily or rarer items.

probably some form of weapon or the like
for instance, a magic weapon scythe
this could work even though it wouldn’t be necessarily a “cosmetic” as it could simply only be comparable in strength to other weapons, even if it had unique skills or the like
doing so would also ensure the value of such as item moreso than just a cosmetic would
headless is top tier in terms of vanity hence why it’s good, most cosmetic items wouldn’t be able to compare

As long as it’s just cosmetic to flex…
Now it’s already unlikely that the revamp gets done before christmas so it’s pretty obvious we won’t have a christmas event (or at least not something as big as halloween, that took nearly a month I think?)
I guess the event could be about… valentine day? Heart themed items, one of the common items or maybe the final reward could be some kind of quiver with heart arrow with particles to make it special, or one of these arrow through the head accessories. Or else we most likely skip to easter where the reward would obviously be eggs.
Considering all possible release dates and only choosing American Holidays because Vetex lives in America because of that one time I doxed him because he didn’t give me Sunken Sword don’t worry we settled it and I have a Sunken Sword totally unrelated to previous incident(Joking).

Christmas, Santa hat that you get by solving a riddle kind of like a Legendary Chart in AR but not as favorable towards people who don’t have a life and spend 69 hours daily on the game. Like maybe get some specific items and bring them together to get a riddle and that’s where the hat is.
ST. Patricks day, Fight a Leprechaun that uses Grass Magic and gives the Itchy Status Effect and when you beat him you get a pot of Aurem to sell plus a hat
April Fools, Grass magic is an actual magic for a day, or maybe add ink and paper for a day just to taunt people
Easter, A bunny boss that uses egg magic, and gives the “yolked” status effect which just makes you look eggy.

Assuming AO comes out in october. Maybe a thanksgiving event. And if you get every seasonal item. Instead of something that completely dominates the economy. Maybe a weapon wrapping. Like having your guns, sword handles, spear poles, etc. get a brown orange green skin. Optional of course.
