Trello cards are being updated, and the professions card now has four planned professions not in-game.
Personally, I feel like it’d be nice to have these Professions simply make it easier to obtain pre-existing items instead of offering stuff that invalidates gear builds that have been made already.
Miner could give a better chance of finding Gems or Reagents/Catalysts in breakable rocks, or possibly double what you get. It could probably also give you a shot at finding exotic gems in rocks, even if they aren’t available through them normally. Assuming it would progress from obtaining items based on breakable objects.
Not entirely sure about what Diver could give, though I imagine a part of its progression would likely come in the form of increased base Air, without taking Potions into account. It could possibly also be used to unlock the Diving Bell idea seen in the Trello Card for the Dark Sea. Assuming it would progress based on Diving Points, Underwater Structures, and Shipwrecks.
Not sure about Enchanter, especially since Enchanter NPCs already exist. Maybe it’ll increase the availability of Exotic Scrolls? Might progress from using Enchantment Scrolls.
Monster Hunter could possibly give modified versions of Animal/Sea Monster gear, such as Archaic Boar stuff or Drowned Apex Armor. Main problem would be that this would immediately invalidate pre-existing Omen Armor, and I feel like if that happened, every last Omen Slayer would lock onto my location for thinking of it before it got added.
100% Diver. I love exploring underwater structures, its so interesting, rewarding, and there are a ton of reagents down there. I love looting.
As for the expected perks of Diver, aside from the diving bell, I’d say some kind of a decoy that scares away every marine animal in vicinity, as well as clearer vision underwater
Enchanting - Maybe allow for combined enchants, kind of like fused jewels? Or better yet, something kinda like Vesteria’s cursed scrolls, you can get a ton of one stat, but will lose another stat.
Diving - No clue, honestly, perhaps a tool to more easily bring sealed chests to the surface, and maybe added air capacity and swimming speed, or reduced aggro range of sea creatures?
Monster hunter - Better drop rates, maybe some passive animal defense?
Mining - Hopefully actually Gathering or something that improves the odds of getting items from stuff you destroy, otherwise I think it’ll end up yet another generic RPG thing that doesn’t really do anything.
Maybe diver will act as sea based charts. When doing sunken activities you can get a “lost sea chart” which maybe can also offer lost knowledge or the ability to get modified sunkens.
THEY ARE REWORKED TO HOW YOU LEVEL THEM UP PLEASE VETEX HUNTING 300 PEOPLE AND FISHING 2K TIMES AND CRAFTING 5K GEMS WITH 10K COMMON REAGENTS IS NOT A FUCKING GOOD NOR FUN IDEA.
