What happened to it? We know that the main headquarters were vaporized and that it slowly fell afterwards, but do we have anything else? Like the guard who told me this story, I’d love to know more.

True… Just because the headquarters were vaporized, this doesnt mean those who know it died as well. There should be atleast survivors of Arcane Government members and bring it back to Magius.
So chances are that the peacekeeper knowing it was corrupt probably stop all attempts to make the AG again. The MC is made by averil and arsen (two people with curses and yes averil gets a curse read sheeps comic). Or maybe all the people who led the AG just died or quit because they didnt care enough to bring it back.
I’m guessing there wasn’t much the survivors could do, since I’m guessing most of the head honchos died when the 5th sea was vaporized. Even with the fact that there were still outposts and bases in other seas, they all probably descended into chaos once the natural disasters started. If any of the AG members went to Magius, I’m guessing there wasn’t enough of a society at the time for them to make a full government again.
But what I wonder is if Valencia or any member of the Grand Table survived (unless they were retconned/removed from the lore), since they all had curses.

The Council was made by Trigno, Averill, John Thorne and other unnamed Wizards. Arsen is the Protector of New Alalea. I wan’t to see Valencia alive considering she was on par with Theos and Durza according to the World’s Strongest People with the Shockwave Curse. It never stated she was killed and it wouldn’t make sense for her to die to a blast from a weakened Durza.
