fr advice this time

GET AS MUCH DEFENSE AS YOU CAN FEASIBLY OBTAIN. defense amulet, iron armor, anything. block a lot as well. you need to be able to tank hits.

The best loadout:

After fighting Carina there is 3 things you should do.

  • Do treasure charts/diving
  • Collect at least 3 strong scrolls (a quest in shell island drops them)
  • Get the dodge reflex (they unlock at level 120 so take that if you’re level 120 and still can’t beat him)

Other things to help is:

  • Grind for the Storm caller (I did this for my 0 stat file once)
  • Beat the crap out of Cernyx for his armor, it’s pretty good in the mid-gane
  • Cook some food

Use flintlock not as a damage source but to shoot him during his orbital strike, and after that, quickly close the distance and spam all of your skills on him. This works best in his second phase (make sure you bait his orbital strike somewhere far away so the additional knockback thinggy dont interrupt you)

ALWAYS prepare to parry on his blast on his second phase or stand on the middle of the arena and t jump so he shot the wall.

During his barrage, he always follows up with a beam or spear throw then crash, so make sure you dash immediately after the barrage. He will almost always shockwave smash or beam you after the crash. (i actually cant really remember this part, someone please correct me)

You can parry his grab thinggy if it connected. If not, jump away because he will use greatsword tempest with his triasta immediately after landing.

lastly, good luck with the array spell.

Guys, I discovered a trick to dealing with his nuclear bomb attack. Use rush on him right in his face, that way you damage him and get out of the way at the same time.
