so how i understand it, primordial magic were the first magic ever? if thats the case then whats with the why did arcane adventures start off with basic magics such as fire, earth, water, wood, and air? if primordial were the first then why isnt it common if they were the building blocks for all magic?
Wood Magic Wasn’t in Arcane.
so wood is more advanced than primordial magic?
Basically, primordial magics are an extremely rare and powerful magic that were only held by a select few users during the Golden Age of Magic in Arcane lore. As they were rare back then, it was obvious that the player wouldn’t have them at the time.
Also, they never were the building blocks for magic - they were simply rare and powerful magics.
There’s more info on the Trello underneath Magic Types if you want to know more.
so it was slected by a group of higher beings? were they given by prometheus?
Prometheus gave one of them, which was Promethean Fire, I think. But yeah, I believe they were made by the gods and passed down to a few lucky humans who were then able to use this rare and unknown magic.
okay thank you for the info
primordial magic is like curses. Not many people have them. but theyre good. Primordial is more like unevolved raw power magic. Arcane takes place after they evolved a small bit to new ones
