Recently, I posted an Idea as It was something I had in mind, and wanted to share it in game discussion as it said share your ideas here.
However, it got taken down as it was seen as a suggestion.
Now I am curious, what is really the difference and could someone come up with an example for an Idea and for a suggestion?
I don’t wanna make that mistake again and I would wanna learn what I could have done differently, as well so others could know.
An idea is something you think of and discuss with others to see their viewpoint on it
A suggestion is what comes after such discussion/thought and is more of a proposal than a debate topic

What is it then 
literally speaking, there isn’t a difference. However, all of the suggestions I’ve seen that are clearly framed as being meant for discussion by other forumers and not for vetex to look at haven’t gotten closed for being suggestions out of suggestions. Here are some examples

anyways, if you do decide to write suggestions, please use the hide details feature to hide most of the explanation and stuff.
