What the title said, i’m not too sure, does magnetic pull more items and luring pull more fish

Luring makes you catch stuff faster magnetic increases item chance rather than fish

If you want to fish for sunken items use Luring bronze = you will faster reach 3k catches (1 sunken item is garantued each 3k)
