Bloxstrap (remember to check that you’re downloading the correct one!)
It makes editing fastflags (basically hidden settings) easier which can be used to improve fps. Simplest one that @fartman1314 is probably mentioning is one that separates render distance and the rest of graphics quality. So you can have a quality of 2 and a render distance of 10. Pretty good qol.
You can also make the game look worse and get +10-15 fps by researching the fastflags (or copy and pasting a list from a youtuber…). Absolutely worth it imo, you can always switch back to regular Roblox client.
Bloxstrap was in some hot water because exploiters (?) were accusing it for being malware or bannable by Roblox but I’m fairly confident this isn’t the case (w/ proof). But it’s probably fine to use as long as you aren’t bugging out the engine to get 3x jump power and buggy walkspeed.

you cant do this with fflags anyway
bloxstrap is safe, editing fastflags is something you can do manually as well and isnt bannable, bloxstrap just makes it easier and makes it so you dont have to manually edit them again every update
I’m building my own PC for Christmas but until then that 20-30 Fps will haunt me
