It gives 125 hp and 1 drawback. So if you don’t kill your target in less than 3 attacks on ANY build(assuming you only have 1 drawback) the gem leaves you on a hp net loss
This just seems like the most useless thing in the game like wth
Basically you better land your shots
Even so, the gem will still take more hp than it actually gives, no one is dying in 2 attacks, especially if you are not using power gems

It’ll probably need some defense buff or make it so it gives power and defense
painite is so you can have funny numbers of hp which increases your regen speed.
So just by blocking with a shield or boxing gloves you will out regen the damage you take and can heal before attacking again.
10 Painite + Vatrachos set build 
We losing half our health with this one
if you add armored enchants you can reach 2228 defense or 3196 hp. With 100 vitality points its 3596 + aura or focus hp boost. You’d inflict more damage onto yourself than your enemies would.
That 15 drawback is an ugly mark on that 2228 defense with 121 power 
Anyways I have this as a planned build
No painite necessary 
As a side note it’s going to be for a warrior, which Vatrachos might not be the best set for but eh.
