My username is pronounced identically to the word psychedelic, because I really like that word and I really like psychedelic patterns! So I decided to misspell it in various ways and picked my favourite.
Now this I can respond to, Emperor just cause I liked the title, and RCM is just my last 3 initials, of course no one can pinpoint what names they are

My name refers to Illinois Jacquet, one of my main musical inspirations (and basically the reason I learned tenor sax). The 1942 comes from one of the most influential moments in his career, when he soloed on Lionel Hampton’s rendition of “Flying Home.” Jacquet was only 19 years old when he performed this 80-second solo that made him famous. There you go, a history lesson.

Anyway uhh Galaxi because i like space and play kerbal space program
I like Pokemon, and one of my favorites is Zoroark. I also liked concepts people made for a hypothetical Mega Zoroark.
Then I slapped an O on the end because why not. Think I’ve had this username for nearly 8 years now.
I also go by Oceansurge on some websites like Bluesky; figured it’d be nice to have a separate name for stuff I write. Was planning to go for Stormsurge instead since I love thunderstorms (also why my main AO file has Water Magic as his primary), but that was taken on the first site I tried.
