i just read through athena’s pages on the wiki and apparently durza is alive, so i now believe that the aforementioned mage may be the guy everyone’s referring to as the abberation

edward is constantly haunted by guilt, has nightmares about executing innocents by the order of his superiors ,not being able to live up to the expectations of being a captain and is somewhat suicidal because his life purpose, work as a navy and sense of justice is meaningless in the end

ceasar is vetex’s AA character who travelled back in time after the game broke and then the ravennans confused the real ceasar and vetex and then vetex became the king. because vetex is also the developer, when WoM became AO, vetex ceasar died at cassia town, but was reborn when he gave himself cataclysm instead of aether lightning as his dev spec.

During Iris and neviro’s time together, Iris saw a bit of her father in him (I like to think he was like him personality wise, just a bit more approachable and open) and accidentally called him dad once as a result, and after a long, awkward silence, she slapped him to make him forget and then acted like nothing happened afterwards.
