Where can I find accurate information online about these topics?

I just realized I’ll have to do heavy research on them if I want to write my story (Flesh Armored Vanguards) accurately. Here’s what I need:

Military (for a main character named Musakid Hakamtir)

  • He’s inexperienced in the military, having joined only 1-2 years before the start of the story.

Emergency Medicine (for a main character named Shouzate Kirojaishu)

  • She’s actually an ex-responder who left 3-4 months ago, meaning she no longer has access to some tools (this’ll cut down on the research I have to do).
  • Take note she stole some supplies before leaving her job but I haven’t finalized which ones she stole.

Cultures (all the main characters come from different places around the world)

  • I’ll need reasons for why cultural traditions exist for example.
  • I haven’t decided what base cultures my characters should have.
  • I want to know how I can include little cultural variations/bits into their everyday life, such as bathroom manners or stuff you should/shouldn’t do at a restaurant.
  • I also want to know how I can modify preexisting cultures to fit the lore of my story or even make new ones.
  • Take note the story is set in the 21st century.
  • I’ll also need information on rural tribes, because one of the main characters comes from one. I haven’t decided which one.

Anything required in making a secret base (to explain how a main character even got a base for the Flesh Armored Vanguards)

  • This’d likely be a mix of money, law, and engineering.
  • Money and law for getting building permits
  • Engineering for actually having a stable base that won’t fucking collapse on itself.

google
