I’m pretty sure there isn’t even an expert angler badge. The title might be disabled, yeah, but the badge just doesn’t exist.

You have only caught every fish, not every variation. Keep at it
You only need every fish for Expert Angler. You need every variation of every fish for Master Angler though.

i do have expert angler
the game just never told me i had it (the item recieve thingy in the bottom right corner)
its weird there’s no badge for expert, or even master angler titles. considering true captain has a badge and its basically 0 effort to get. in addition to most other titles having badges
Everyone always asks “Where’s my expert angler?”, never “How’s my expert angler?”
Because nobody cares about how a mere expert is doing, if you aren’t a master you’re a novice, get back to fishing!
