I’ll sometimes take from the Webcomic, because it’s the closest to what we have to Cursebeard in action for feats, even if the Webcomic isn’t canon.
From what we know, Cursebeard is capable of…
Using the Blaze Curse, which grants him the ability to create, manipulate and transform into fire at lightning’s form.
Using the Ice Curse, which grants him the ability to create, manipulate and transform into ice. He freezed a massive body of water within The Dead Strait with this.
Using the Tide Curse, gifted by Poseidon, which grants him the ability to literally control the ocean.
Using the Energy Curse, which grants him infinite energy physical-wise and magical-wise.
These Curses grants him immortality against aging and makes him intangible- no, deadly against physical touch, and he’s pretty much over a millenia old so he’d have alot of battle experience.
Now, I don’t know shit about anime. So you can put 'em in here for comparison.
As I said, either able to most likely or can, in the topic title.
By the way, excluding joke/gag characters or severely out-of-league characters (ones that are either too strong or too weak, making it easy to conclude)
From what we know so far, none of them come close. “The strongest man in the world”, Whitebeard, would likely be defeated easily by the vast amount of god-like power Cursebeard possesses. There are a few unrevealed characters left in one piece that are theorized to be extremely powerful, but I doubt even their power would withstand Cursebeard’s might.
Honestly when it comes to strong characters in anime, one piece is pretty far from the strongest. Personally I think some anime with characters that stand a better chance are ones like Naruto or Bleach.
I’d assume devourers are imbued with magic of some sort, or like what PopularDude said and their made out of some special type of arcanium (hopefully we find out in the story)
Considering Cursebeard is most likely as strong, if not stronger than Durza who is already strong enough to basically reform the entire earth at full strength, I’d say the Cursebeard is pretty damn strong, Assuming Haki can touch curses in the first place, I’d say that Cursebeard is around Kaido level in terms of overall strength but with how curses work, nobody can really know
