Which magic type should I use?

I just started Arcane Odyssey and I wanted to know which magic is best?

Completely up to personal opinion, I like metal

Oh ok

run fire magic, its good all around with dot and everything, and is my personal goat, with the downside of not working underwater. which is shit and vetex said magic waterproofing will be a thing by the end of nimbus

The strongest magic is the one that suits your playstyle, which you can only really find through experience

just don’t run shadow
those kids are edgy as all hell

Really depends on what you want. The best Magic changes constantly, and it isn’t worth a trek into the Dark Sea each time that happens. Only thing I’d advise against are Heat-based Magics (which includes Ash and Explosion), along with Ice and Snow, because they don’t work at all underwater.

Which is dumb as all hell.

That being said, join us Mages who use Water as our primary

I thought water looked cool so I think I will use water

What class are you going

I think Mage

Choose metal as your second magic since stun builds are cringe and water has a bleed synergy

Ok I will

He just loves metal, take that with a grain of salt.

Poison and Ice are my favorite second choices, since Poison creates clouds, and Ice creates platforms on water.
I’d say Ice, because if you use ice on a wet target (water makes wet) it freezes them.

Water is a good choice. It has natural size, and overall good stats rather than a gimmicky crutch.

Oh, I’ll just choose one that looks best, can you change it later?

Yeah, but it’s a bit of a hassle.

Oh ok

ahhh, you’ve got to try explosion. As a newer player myself, who has just started recently, explosion is great. Water is also pretty good, but it might be my water bias as I like to also use water magic as well as fishing and once found this cool powerful sunken sword from it (btw fishing I’ve found is really good)

Ok, I might try explosion magic and also fishing

If you want to try another magic, most people usually make more than one file anyway.

I have a second one where I’m priotizing defensive strategies and more quick attacks instead of dmg, and I’m starting to really like it
