All the magics have great SFX, but I’ve got to say that Wood has the best sounding SFX. Nothing beats the sound of wood bursting or being cracked.

Glass is pretty nice-sounding as well. The charging and impact sounds are really satisfying.

Glass breaks my headphones tbh
It’s really loud to me expecially the KRRKRTT HCCKC that it makes instead of the smooth fwoom that other magics have

I guess I’m maybe a bit nostalgic to wind or something, but honestly I don’t remember much the other sound effects
Anyway definitely not lightning, it gets annoying after a while

Ice cause it sounds like someone aggressively pouring ice cubes into an empty glass. Or like one of those fancy refrigerator ice dispensers. Just loud.

I like Ash and Shadow as I’m most familiar with them, but Plasma is super iconic too. Ash is like a deeper Poison (from what I remember of Poison) and Shadow’s really satisfying when it makes contact.

sand, the charge sound effect has a pretty nice desert vibe

Shadow gives me bad Marua flashbacks.

Marua fuckin’ sucked as a first boss lol
He kept spamming that stupid pressure move
I had to have a high level kill him for me

I only tried Wood, Paper and Plasma so I can only judge between those.
Plasma is annoying as all hell, sounds like a dying eagle with asthma. I don’t want to play that slot anymore because of that.
Wood is very satisfying, the crack is definitely the best part.
Paper I also like a lot, the flick when casting blasts is really the part than wins me over.
I announce Paper as the winner of this based competition.
